Angguk it is a popular traditional art with islamic nuance. It is usually performed by male children or teenagers, who dance and sing. Nowadays, female children and girls have also role in it. Angguk features head nodding in its every motion. The name is, therefore, named after Angguk ( meaning “to nod”). its typical music instruments are terbang, kendang, jidor and song lyric from Barzanji book.
